would this ball be usable for outdoor volleyball or just indoor volleyball?

You could* use it outdoors, but why? You’re paying for an Indoor Olympic volleyball. If you’re planning for an outdoor ball then buy the KOB Volleyball or the AVP. I own both and those would be better for an outdoor game.

How can I remove the air?

Put an inflation needle into it and let out some air.
