Extra Wired Probe & Alarm Function - The food thermometer comes with an extra heat resisting wired probe. Plug in and it turns to an oven/smoker safe meat thermometer immediately. Press the ‘ALARM SET’ button on the cooking thermometer to set up your target temperature. The alarm bell will ring once the measured temperature is higher than set. The alarm will last as long as 10 minutes unless you press any button to stop it. Calibration & Hold Function - Each TM27 is pre-calibrated individually in the factory by high-precision temperature standards. However, if you feel unconfident about the accuracy, you can check it or calibrate the temperature yourself with a cup of ice water which is properly prepared.
