Everything I used to make this drywall art! More info below. - My Canvases are 30"x40" - You can use either heavyweight or lightweight joint compound. It yields the same results in my experience. - Apply the joint compound on thick so that the roller can create texture. Not too thick though, or the drywall will split while drying! - The wood frame is 1x2 pine from Home Depot. Sand with 220 grit sandpaper before staining. Then, apply one coat pre stain wood conditioner, one coat provincial, and one coat antique white. - I used a picture wire kit mounted to the back of the canvas to mount it.
