Books that helped us navigate health conversations around bodies
and the birds and the bees! *Note, this starts very young with the
books "The Story of Me," "Before I was Born," and "What's the Big
Deal?" which are all a part of the God's Design for Sex series. I
have noted that there are 1-2 controversial pages in "It's So
Amazing" where they show illustrations of same sex love (nothing
graphic, but still represented). We didn't remove these pages, but
had healthy talks on God's design for marriage. We also discussed
the importance of loving everyone no matter what their decisions
are.
