Surf Fishing Rods and Reels

A Surf Fisherman can use a wide variety of rods and reels to find success in the North Carolina surf; from light, fast action combos for making sport out of small game-fish to powerful, heavy action combos for fishing the Cape Hatteras surf for monster red drum. There is no perfect rod; some are budget friendly, some excessively expensive. The members of the Facebook Group: Surf Fishing North Carolina were asked their favorite.
